DJ UHO (born Anton Ukhanov on 5 July 1974 in Moscow, USSR) began his career playing techno and acid-house music in 1994 being a resident of such well-known Moscow clubs as “Gippopotam” and “Penthouse”.
After achieving success as а DJ in Moscow clubs in 1995-2000 he hosted his own night shows on the radio “Station 106.8 FM” (the first legendary russian radio station devoted entirely to dance and alternative electronic music, which gave a tremendous impetus to the development of club culture in Russia).
Between 1996 and 1998 his schedule was full of touring performances in the cities of Russia and СIS (St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Kiev, Riga, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Minsk, Tomsk and others) and dj sets at Moscow rave club parties.
In 2000 Anton went to France, where he spent four months studying at the High School of Marketing and Advertising (Paris).
In 2001, after returning to Moscow, he became a resident of the club “City”, which provided the stage for many world-renowned DJs.
In July 2003 DJ UHO took part in the festival “Megapolis. Pulse” on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow, headlining Chris Korda and Fat Trucker from Gigolo Records as well as the project «U.N.K.L.E.». That summer he also took part in an electronic festival, which took place in the resort city of Georgia – Batumi.
Since 2005 DJ UHO became a resident of the Shanti Club in Moscow. In 2012-2013 he spent two winter seasons as a DJ at the Shanti branch in Goa (India).
From 2008 to 2011 he hosted his own show “The Third Ear” on the radio station «Megapolis 89.5 FM” dedicated to classical electronic musicians and bands and latest most interesting releases in techno music.
Currently, DJ UHO is working on his own music project «UHONAVTIKA» and continues dj performances in Moscow clubs and bars.
